Welcome to the AutoSIGH.

Automated Structured Interview for the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale with Atypical Depression Supplement

There are many gradations between major depression, minor depression, feeling blue and feeling normal. Without a clinical assessment, it can be confusing to know where you stand, yet the information is very important for deciding whether to seek help - or if you're already taking a treatment, for monitoring your progress.

The AutoSIGH asks about all aspects of depression, both emotional and physical. There are about 25 questions - the exact number depends on how you answer. This can take from 10-20 minutes, so if you don't have time for this now, please exit and come back later.

The AutoSIGH is anonymous and confidential and the restults are yours only. We provide immediate feedback, with the option to print out results, but our database cannot tie your information back to you. While CET will not be able to intervene if you are suffering a clinical depression, we will offer useful resourcces.

The AutoSIGH tells you where you stand right now, this week. Keep a weekly record of your AutoSIGH scores to monitor your improvement (or worsening). This will help you decide what to do next.
